Meditation is the action or practice of meditating. What does meditation do? Meditation helps you relax, can help you manage pain, depression, and insomnia. The year 2019 was different, to say the least, I had two (2) surgeries, I was at the emergency room, twice before the first surgery and twice in between the surgeries, and a little after I finished with the surgeries, we welcomed coronavirus, and my mother past away. I could say without a doubt that meditation made the pain and the emptiness of my mother s departure easier to deal with. I could say that I might have achieved the same without meditation, but it is simply not true, I would most probably still be dealing with depression, if not worse. I have been meditating every day ever since, and my life keeps getting better, little by little, without pushing it. every piece will fall in place at the right time. No rush. Something tells me that the darkness I went thru is gone for good. I am assuming you do not have to go through a lot of problems before you start meditating, so, start here. How many people meditate in the United States? According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 35 million Americans have already given meditation a try. A Report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says that 14.2% of American adults surveyed in 2017 say they had practiced meditation in the past year. That is a big change from 4.1% in 2012, and the trend Is only growing. Are you one of them? I think you should be. People meditate for different reasons, some for spiritual purposes, others for medical purposes, either way, the benefits are great. A book such as this can help your start the practice. There are many reasons why you should do meditation, however, there is no one reason why you should not. Whether it is to get peace, to worship God, or both, meditation will get you there. It is also estimated that globally there are between 200 and 500 million people who meditate, and the trend continues to grow. I see what is going on around the world and I think, Yes, we need more people to meditate and make this chaos disappear. You have never, ever, woke up and wished that one-day chaos is out of everyone’s life for good? I know I have. many times. I also know the end to this chaos does not seem to be near unless of course, we do something to remediate the problem. Once again, we need peace to get organized, a good way to achieve it is thru meditation. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish everything was as peaceful and wonderful as it was when I was growing up, but the truth is, that world is not coming back unless I want it to do so, If we have peace inside us, we will offer peace, if we have chaos, that is what we will offer, so we need peace in us. Don’t you think? Oh. What to do? Some books can help you achieve this, then again the initiative must come from You! I know, you think Superman and Supergirl are going to take us out of this chaotic place, let’ see! Whoops, I do not think that is going to happen anytime soon. We hope that all problems will magically disappear, but it will not be so, we must first start creating solutions instead of creating problems. The day when that happens, we will be fine. Start doing it and do not ever stop. We spend countless hours watching TV, playing games, does it make sense we have no time to improve our world?

Inner Peace Meditation Serenity, The world is full of chaos, something we have created, all by ourselves, there are wars everywhere, and for some reason, it seems to be unstoppable. I wonder why? We attract events according to our actions, it has seen our actions are not very good, I always dreamt of a world where everyone could coexist, on wars, everybody helping everybody, working towards a common goal, the well-being of humankind, and yet it seems unreachable
to receive peace, you must offer peace, to receive love, you must offer love. However, you cannot offer any of them unless you have them. The initiative must come from every individual, voluntarily, it will only happen then. That level of maturity is not common, however. But without a doubt, it must be achieved, the day when human beings achieve that level of maturity the world will be better. Where do you think that level of consciousness comes from? I might be a dreamer, but deep down you know you are also, so why not start changing what we both know has to be changed, the way we all we have always see the world, like ours, only to serve us, the world owes us, we owe nothing to it, no concern for it, or human wellbeing. So, why don ‘t you start doing something about it? You do know I am right. The world has always sustained us, isn’t time we reciprocate? I do not think destruction is the only thing we are capable of offering. However, we need to start somewhere, and the sooner we do it the sooner we are going to see the benefits of what we do. Inner Peace Meditation Serenity, they are the same, The more I practice it, meditation, the more beautiful the world around me becomes, every day I discover things I had missed before, by not having a chaotic life I have time to appreciate the world, the people around me, which I think is something good. It does not hide anything, but it does let me appreciate the things I once could not, which in turn makes my life more positive. Life or time rather does not stop, you might as well enjoy every second of it and do positive things while going through it. I believe, it is never too late to start. The world is beautiful when you surround yourself with peace. I started getting peace the day I started practicing meditation, with it has been getting a lot of benefits. And so will you when you do it. Whatever you are trying to achieve right now, remember, You cannot be the master of anything before you a master of life. And you already know which way you have to go from here. I remember what everything was like before I started doing meditation, how hard everything seemed, how difficult everything was, and everything was complicated by any standards, that part of my life is now gone, hopefully never to come back, as long as I keep doing meditation. Assuming that you have a wonderful life, peaceful, etc. you can still practice meditation, I can assure you that on the way or another it will improve. Anytime is a good time to start practicing meditation, and you can always use the benefits it will bring you. I am happy I am not confused, hectic, anymore, anxious as I once was, I can do everything I am supposed to do every day, I have the energy, the peace of mind, and everything else aI need to take care of everything I have to. Inner Peace Meditation Serenity. This Website contains affiliate links. Please read Amazon and ClickBank disclaimers respectively. I need to meditate every day, doing meditation I am achieving the Inner peace and strength I need, it clears my mind and allows me to concentrate, by being able to concentrate I can get organized and take on the challenges I have every day, at the end of the day I can see the results I was looking for, but without meditation, I won’t be able to do it the way it is supposed to be done, if at all.
Without doing meditation it is simply not the same, I do not have the inner peace I need, and not having that inner peace everything becomes difficult, which to be honest, I do not recommend. Doing meditation, achieving inner peace are the same, by doing meditation and following the guidelines the way they are supposed to be followed, you will achieve inner peace, and that is what We want. Just start and you will be on your way to inner peace, make sure you don’t take any shortcuts, remember every action has a reaction, don’t take shortcuts, do everything as it is supposed to be done. We all need peace and this is a good way to start, it will impact every aspect of your life, and in time you will be happy you started doing it, but you don’t have to believe what I am saying, you should not believe what people say, try, find out if I am wrong, once again, take no shortcuts. Be honest, do everything the way it is supposed to be done since day number one, and achieve the results you want to achieve the first time, chances are, that every time you fail will make it harder to start again, and eventually you will give up. Which wouldn’t be the best choice? In my opinion. Start with five minutes, in the morning and then five (5) in the afternoon, if it is too much, just do (5) in the morning, and go from there, then do morning and afternoon, then ten (10)minutes, then fifteen (15) minutes, when you get up and fifteen (15) minutes before going to bed, in time you will see the difference. Remember, just like anything else, it is important to keep a schedule, do not miss it. Do it every day, week, and so on. In case you need help! What I am telling you may seem unimportant, but details are always important, it could be the difference between making it or breaking it, and I am sure you want to make it, instead of wasting time, nobody likes to do that, I am sure you are no exception. Keep trying until you get it correctly, but remember to be honest to yourself, the only one benefiting from all this will be you, so make sure you are doing it the way it is supposed to be done, do not cheat, since you will only be cheating yourself, remember Meditation Inner Peace. I don’t need to tell you how important inner peace Is I your life, let’s see if you have inner peace, everything that surrounds you will be peaceful, your family, friends, etc. and it seems to me that by affecting your family and loved ones is a great reason to do it. Important enough to set aside a few minutes every day and make your life and everything around it more beautiful and peaceful, of course, every member of your family will thank you for it. Then again, I could be wrong. although I don’t think I am. This Website contains affiliate links. Please read Amazon and ClickBank disclaimers respectively. Before he started doing meditation he researched once again.
By doing meditation every day everything has become peaceful, organized, easier. Everything used to be very chaotic. Not long after he started meditating everything changed, in a positive way I must say, there is no more anxiety, confusion, exhaustion, etc., which is excellent, you see anxiety did not let him complete the task at hand, which in turn created some kind of problem, not able to finish something means not able to start something else, and if confused and/or exhausted, perhaps not able to finish it. How did this happen? He asks himself. The answer is not difficult, meditation changed his life. Stress-free, anxiety-free, exhaustion free, I think it is great. By doing meditation you get in touch with your inner self, Yogapedia defines the Inner Self as follows: Meditation is not an exercise; meditation is a form of worshiping. Most people practice yoga, of which, meditation is part, to beautify the body, but the truth is yoga is not about the body, yoga is about the soul. I always like to know what I am doing and why I am doing it so that I know I am headed in the direction, here is a way to widen your knowledge about what yoga is. What is Yoga? You should know what you are doing and where that is going to lead you before you do it, a good way to do that is by knowing what yoga is, once you do meditation, you will understand why the peace and everything else once you understand what yoga is. The benefits are endless, but like anything else, it must be done for the right reasons, it is not a game you do to pass time, you should understand why you are doing it before you do it. This consideration might seem unimportant, but it matters. If you are doing it to beautify your body, then you should practice a sport, yoga and its meditation isn’t. I started practicing meditation every day, twice a day, about 15 years ago, the results have been excellent, it steered me in a new direction, I will never forget the day I started, then again, for those of you who share my belief, I was looking for guidance from the supreme being, god. Yogi is a person who practices yoga, this yogi practiced yoga, and did meditation every day, his name is Paramahansa Yogananda, I have read many of his books, What I do, I earned from his books, I started with Autobiography of a Yogi. You might want to start here also, just a thought. Yogapedia's definition of Inner Self is as follows: The inner self is an individual’s personal, internal identity – one that is distinct from identities defined by external, social forces, and relationships. It is closely linked to a person’s values, beliefs, goals, and motivations. The term also implies a level of authenticity not associated with external identities and labels; it is the “true self.” Many refer to the inner self as the soul, particularly in spiritual contexts. Meditation and yoga have been used for thousands of years to tune into the body and access / align with the inner self. Merriam Webster dictionary says the emotional and spiritual part of someone. She’s taking meditation classes to get in touch with her inner self. You want to know what all this is to start your journey, as I said, it is not pass time. I bet you will never regret the moment you started. This Website contains affiliate links. Please read Amazon and ClickBank disclaimers respectively. Wondering Lately Why Humans… It is not difficult, perhaps because you want peace in your life, everybody does, life is full of chaos nowadays, and you are wanting to get away from it, I know I do.
Meditation will bring you peace, but to do meditation, you need a peaceful place, a quiet place, so you can concentrate, and you must also be at ease when you do it, so you can get the results you are looking for, and you will not get those results unless there is peace where you can practice your meditation. You don’t need a fancy place, a simple room will do just fine, a place you can go to every day and do your meditation, your bedroom will be the perfect place for it, all you need is a place where you can concentrate. Once again, I will say, meditation is not an exercise, it is a form of worship. You will hear that in all my posts. In the movie Alice in Wonderland, Alice asks Cheshire, the cat, Which road do I take? Cheshire replied: where do you want to go? Alice answered I don’t know. Cheshire then said: if you don’t know, then any road will lead you there, if you don’t know why you want to practice meditation or you just want to beautify your body, then I suggest you practice an exercise. Meditation is not an exercise. Make sure you are doing meditation for the right reasons. Wondering Lately Why Humans… Meditation will get you closer to God, that will be the result if you follow the instructions and do everything correctly, which I believe is wise. I have been going thru a karmic phase the last 4 years, I tapped into some bad karma, I am getting out of it now, it has been thru meditation that I have been able to go thru it, if it wasn’t for meditation I would still be in the middle of nowhere, by doing meditation I was able to get the peace, energy, wisdom I needed to do what I had to do. Everything got better because of it. When it first started, I was confused, I don’t know exactly what I did to trigger it, although, I cannot explain what I did, I know ai did something, not because I wanted to do it, but because I was confused. I wish I had read this book. I knew it was coming for some time now, because of things I did before I started practicing yoga, meditation, the very same things that lead me to start practicing it. It has been about fifteen (15) years now, since I started doing meditation, twice every day, once in the morning when I get up and once before I go to bed, seven days a week, The only thing I have seen are benefits, I was confused, anxious, etc., and now I am not, happily, everything has been going away little by little and hopefully never to return. I hope you find this helpful and take advantage of it, there are many reasons why you should do this but no there is no reason not to. My life has been getting easier, there is serenity since I started practicing meditation, and I assume anybody can benefit from this, even people with a peaceful life. It took an accident for me to start practicing meditation, nobody has to wait that long, to understand that there must be peace, serenity, tranquility inside of you and that your action affects everybody around you. You can start by lighting a candle, watch at the flame for a few minutes, 5 minutes will do, then just get rid of the flame, close your eyes, and concentrate on the flame, do this for about 15 minutes, when you get up and 15 minutes before you go to bed, every day, and that is all you have to do. Meditation is not for the one Who sleeps too much or too little, works too much, or is lazy, eats too much, or too little, there should be no extremes at all. You cannot be exhausted when you do it, you should be rested, relaxed, if you eat a full meal you are supposed to wait 3 hours, if you eat a sandwich or so, you wait 30 minutes. You could before you start meditating, while you are on the sitting position, be it on a chair as I do, or whichever one you are comfortable with, say a prayer, then with the back straight, inhale, count to 5 or as long as you can hold the air in your lungs, then exhale, do this 5 times, and start meditating There are a few positions you can choose from, use whichever one you feel comfortable with. Even if it sounds repetitive, I am going to say that I do it from a chair, because of an injury I have in my left leg, but there are many other positions. You are supposed to keep your back straight, In the time it will align itself. You will need a mat so that you don't sit directly on the floor, a pillow, and some candles, if you wish.. You will do well not to eat spicy food, as the spices will interfere with your concentration, and We don't want that to happen, do We? You will not notice the benefits of meditation the first time you do it, it will take a little while for you to notice them, however, when you do, you will want them to stay with you. I am also supposed to be rested before I do it, never do it while you are tired or on a full stomach.
As a general rule, I do it for 25 minutes, but all you have to do is do it for 15 minutes every day, and you will be fine, by the time you finish doing it, you will have achieved peace and also be ready for your daily tasks. After a while, you will need to do it every day, since it will give you peace and strength to do everything you have to do every day, The day I don't do it I miss that peace, and most importantly, energy to do everything I have to do during the day. My day goes by smoothly, I do not have the hectic days I used to have, and at the end of the day, I'm not as tired as I used to be in the past. Start doing this, follow the guidelines, and one day you find yourself in a position that, you'll be asking yourself, how did I get here? Then you will remember what you are reading right now. There are many benefits you derive by doing meditation, but, as I said before, yoga means union, in this case with the Supreme being, and meditation is the ultimate form of worshiping the Supreme being. The only thing is, meditation is not a thing you do whenever you feel like it, you are supposed to do it every day to see the benefits, 7 days a week if possible, twice a day, when you get up and when you go to bed, every day, every week, every month, every year. In December 24th, 1996, somebody had too much to drink, and as I was coming home, while I was waiting for a stop sign to give me the green light to move, my car was hit by another vehicle, I was seen by a Doctor about 1.5 years, after that the doctor and his team told me to read a lot in order to repair my brain, since I had hit the steering wheel when the other car hit mine, doing about 80 MPH.
Not long after that, I found the first book I read, "The Path". At the time I had a lot of questions about why I could not do a lot of things, I researched but I found no answers, in time I found a book titled "The Path" by Swami Kriyananda, which by the way was out of print, at the time I wrote this. I believe, reading it is the best thing I have ever done, it answered a lot of questions I had, and directed me in a whole new direction, it told me about Swami Kriyananda's teacher, who I came to appreciate. His name was Paramahansa Yogananda, whose books I have been reading since I read "The Path". I read a book written by his master, Swami Sri Ywktesuar, " The Holy Science ", Swami Vivekananda's "Raja Yoga", they gave me boundaries, structured my life, I haven't stopped reading them ever since. I followed everything they taught me, I still do, and my life started changing for the best, I achieved peace I did not have before, I was able to structure my life, and I moved a new direction. Reading those books is the best thing I have ever done. Meditation Changed Life as I Knew it. I read it is addictive, If I don't meditate I feel anxious, I need to do it every day, I like it, it is a good practice. I do it every morning before I go to work home it makes me feel at ease. It is a good way to start the day, and so I do it and then I go to work. I've been doing it for about 12 years, I really need it every day, it makes me feel that I have a lot of energy, let me rephrase that it gives me a lot of energy, I always have the energy I need to complete the task of the day when I don't I definitely need energy; I used to do twice a day, right now I cannot because I have to work and that makes it more difficult, It limits me to once a day, in time I will be able to do it again as I used to, twice a day, I think it is necessary to do it twice a day. Ever, since I am a kid, I have this word in mind, yoga, although I don't know what it means at the time, It was always there. It's been a long time since, but eventually, I came to know the meaning of the word, and I like it, I like the fact that I can go through the day without a problem, it gives me the energy I need, and I didn't have it before I started doing Meditation. I can take care of just about anything right now, as long as I meditate every day. There are always new books about it, which I love reading. Hopefully, they keep coming out. I will always find the time to read them, they always teach something good, something new and I love learning. I hope, if you are reading this, that in time if you're not already doing it, you will start practicing as well. This has been beneficial to me, and I hope, it will also be beneficial to someone reading this right now. Meditation Changed Life as I Knew it. |
